Variation Application May 2025

The Variation Application seeks to vary the consent granted on 31st January 2018 under Section 36C of the Electricity Act 1989 (as amended) and the direction under Section 90 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) for the construction and operation of a generating station of up to 945MW capacity comprising a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (‘CCGT’) unit, a Battery Energy Storage System (‘BESS’), and an Open Cycle Gas Turbine (‘OCGT’) unit generating station, located at West Marsh Road, Spalding, Lincolnshire.
